The recptionist refuses to do anything, he claims "under orders from his manager" he must leave the machine running.
I informed him that he is breaking his own ("IPAS""house Rules) regulations concerning "quiet time"

ROOM 73 is. as much of the "IPO" alloted accomodation, too small for SHARED living 24/7 especially for TWO ADULT MALE STRANGERS!
since my "emergency arrival" in Dublin I have been forced to
- spent the first 6 days without sleep at the Mater A & E
- Share accomodation with 2 others in Balseskin, who kept me awake, due to their activity, thin walls, over night phone calls & bathroom calls.
- Have my rights violated at "2Gateway" with incomplete room dividers, neighouring occupamts who repeated their alarms daily from 5 a.m. & insulted me
- and at UNIT 81, both my roomies have had various waking/working/sleeping shifts,
which mean I cannot get a full nights sleep as I am sensitive to movement/sound. especially as allco-habitants have been heavy snorers (a form of "incidental torture" to any light sleeper)
Added to which ..]
I have been threatened and insulted.
* The UNIT 81 staff do not enforce the "quiet time" ("house rules") which means residents on my level are often loud & noisy. so in the rare times I am alone, I may also be awoken!
* I have not had a full nights sleep since be fore the lockdown (five years without oeace & quiet)
Having NO PRIVACY or PROTECTION of my documents, belongings, cash or myself! I am feeling more & more tired, claustrophobic & irritable, which is not my usual nature, and cannot anyway enjoy RARE sport & social opportunities!
and therefore, require that, as soon as convenient, that I am left alone, in peace & quiet, in room 73!
